The Coffee House

Racism isn't what it used to be
White folk would express
Their hatred more freely

Whipping a nigger into place
Taking our land and lives
Was the slave masters
Display of self-restraint

But now in a time
Of political correctness
Kaffa's don't know
Who's the racist?

Times may have changed
The race war remains
Invisible to the senses
Racism has evolved
It's placism in our time

Smart men will tell us
They're not racist
That we're equal in every way

But between the lines
This is what they say

How dare you stand Negro
Go back to Africa
On the banana boat you came
Go live with the monkeys
There we won't hear your complaints
Among your race
In your rightful place

The slave masters
Display of self-restraint
