Since the birth of man
We've been debated
This is proving
Quite frustrating
You see a child
Playing happily and think
Must have a loving home
You don't seem to get
That child could of wound up
Someone elses pet
Maybe in an abusive home
Or a middle class family
With the pressures
High on expectancy
You still don't get it
Like the tango
It takes two
Only we've been unable
To bridge the gap
Made by man
Nature chose you
To nurture a child
So bring an end
To the debate
For all our sakes
