Don't Tread On Me

I would love a piece of clothing
That attracts insects
And spiders can call home

But, spiders are at home
On their webs
So how to make clothes
from such fine threads?

First I must capture
Several thousand arachnids
Invent harnesses keeping their legs in place
For twenty minutes at least
While I probe each creepy crawly
With my finger
To extract silk threads

To weave a piece of clothing
Only spiders dare tread
And foolish insects
Wind up dead
