Whether caught in bed
With another woman
Or, when something goes wrong
We want to believe
It never happened
Man's friend makes us believe
We are alone
Makes us identify
With the unknown
We see hundreds of blurry pictures
Of U.F.O's
And say trick photography
Or, The effects in Hollywood today
But it's more evidence
Than I've ever seen
Of Jesus Christ, or God
If such a person
Or entity existed
Instead of embracing
The most hopeful message of all
We are not alone
