The Ten Commandments
We’re supposed to abide
Is undisputed evidence
That god is an idiot
A huge tyrannical idiot
Yes I said it
This is an entity
That gave Adam and Eve
One commandment
Don’t pick the apple
From the tree of life
And what happened?
They picked the god-damned apple
From the tree
A crash course
In reverse psychology
Not god’s forte
Humanity unforgiven
Eden out of reach
Even in hell
God speaks
Skip to Moses
Receiving the commandments
On Mount Sinai
Now an intelligent person
Would have learnt something
From the lesson in Eden
Where one commandment
Was one commandment too many
But, not god
He truly loves his children
Giving us ten times the hell
Pushing Eden
Further and further away
And the fires of hell
That bit closer everyday
